An introduction to the Autumn season in a palette of Oak, Gingko, Hass Avocado, Slate and Black, the geometric forms of American modern art and furniture are translated in to a modern tartan played out on elegant outerwear and tailoring in light double face wool viscose and cotton silk, nappa leather and knitwear.

Dresses and skirts with contrast edging in heavy silk crepe and flou jersey sit alongside shirting and tailoring pieces in viscose twill. Time-honoured craftsmanship from the atelier include manually constructed grid patterns created with pin-tucks and double face techniques.

PRE AUTUMN DROPS

A celebration of contrasting and clashing heritage fabrics and a layered sense of styling is inspired by people-watching on the streets of Paris.

Cafe colours of oak, arabica and merlot meet a new fitted tailoring silhouette in fresh takes on traditional suiting fabrics of double face houndstooth, herringbone and chevron. Super light flou fabrics in extra fine wool are introduced for the first time.

Tailoring, shirting and dresses in wool voile bring elegant warmth alongside lightweight pure cashmere and reversible embossed shearling.

AUTUMN DROPS

The contour of the JOSEPH house stripe inspired the atelier to create and artful plisse that brings elegant focus to the final offering of the season.

Belying the simplicity of its effect, the advanced artisan techniques deployed by the Paris aterlier create a pattern of plisse folds that precisely follow the lines of the signature Joseph stripe. In a palette that travels from Ivory and Champagne, through Coral, Carobs and Black, cosy luxe outerwear in double face wool with detachable shearling collars is balanced by body-tracing underpinnings in soft cashmere blends. Iterations of double-faced cashmere provide playful contrast to garmenting, whilst tailoring in cravate wool and flannel bring fluidity and warmth to the winter ward
